RF Engineer Inbuilding Solutions (DAS)

We are looking for an experienced RF Engineer to design, develop and optimize Inbuilding Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). As an RF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Inbuilding RF solutions, conducting site surveys and site measurements, and providing technical support to the sales team and to the end customer if necessary. The Inbuilding design RF engineer will work closely with other engineers and teams to ensure all RF systems meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.

You will work on varied and interesting projects, closely collaborating with other engineers and support teams to ensure our solutions meet customer needs.

In this position, you will also have the opportunity to develop and refine your technical skills in Inbuilding RF system design and become familiar with the latest trends and technologies in this field. You will work with advanced software tools such as iBwave for system simulation, as well as various RF test equipment in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Inbuilding solutions, including DAS, A-DAS, and Small Cell solutions
  • Conduct site surveys to identify RF coverage and capacity needs
  • Perform RF system analyses and simulations using different software tools
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures for Inbuilding systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Inbuilding systems
  • Collaborate with other engineers and teams to ensure all RF systems meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements
  • Provide technical support to the sales team by responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in Inbuilding RF technology

Candidate profile

Are you the ideal addition to our engineering team? Then you will easily recognise yourself in the following points:

  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and/or
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • At least [number of years] experience in RF Inbuilding design and optimisation
  • Strong understanding of RF theory, RF circuit design and electromagnetic theory
  • Experience with simulation software (iBwave)
  • Experience with test equipment (e.g. spectrum analyser, network analyser, oscilloscope)
  • Familiarity with industry standards
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
